Inspector General of Police congratulates Olaniyan as new national chairman community relations committee

The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, has congratulated Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan on his emergence as the new National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), following a peaceful election held on Tuesday at the Goodluck Jonathan Peacekeeping Hall, Force Headquarters, Abuja

Penpushing reports that, the Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi in a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Inspector General of Police said the election of Olaniyan, and his team on was a well-deserved.

The police leadership  tasked the newly elected officials of the Police  Community Relations Committee (PCRC) on entrenching the community policing doctrine in Nigeria, particularly in urban areas where communal living is almost nonexistent.
