I WILL NOT ABANDON OUTSTANDING PROJECTS BEFORE LEAVING OFFICE,SAYS GOVERNOR AMOSUN

The Governor after the meeting led the Executive Council members and Permanent Secretaries on inspection tour of some major projects in Abeokuta, the State capital stating that, projects like the International Airport at Wasimi, may not be completed due to time constraint, but assured that, ‘’I will follow it up while in the Senate, though it is a Federal Government project”.

Penpushing further reports that, Amosun while appreciating members of his Cabinet for their selfless efforts in the rebuilding mission said, “we will continue to work our talk and finish strong”.

In another development, Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Akeem Ambali who was recently reinstated by  Amosun, paid him(governor) a visit to express appreciation, and was accompanied by the Chairman, Trade Union Congress (TUC), Comrade Bunmi Fajobi,stating that ,”the past is gone and a new era is here”.

Penpushing also reports that, Ambali said the visit was to thank the Governor for forgiving the erred labour leaders and bringing everybody together in love, noting that four union leaders were recently reinstated, while 31 leaders had earlier been recalled, bringing the number to 35.

Speaking on the promise of the Governor to offset outstanding deductions before leaving office, Ambali said, “We believe that the Governor will fulfill his promise this time around, he was very specific as to when he will start paying”.
