I LOBBIED PRESIDENT BUHARI 28 TIMES IN ATTEMPT TO SECURE GOVERNORSHIP TICKET FOR AKINLADE——-GOVERNOR AMOSUN

He said, he has put the incident behind him, pointing out that, nobody can frustrated him out from the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC),just as he declared that, some chieftains, who he didn’t mention their names were responsible for the ugly development

The Governor, a close ally of President Muhammadu Buhari, lost out the struggle to fix Akinlade as the party governorship candidate, following separate congress conducted by the party in the State, by a panel sent by the headquarters of the party which produced Dapo Abiodun as the Governorship candidate.

He declared,“I remain in APC because that’s what those people want, they want us to leave APC but they are joking. I will stay in APC to ensure that Buhari wins in Ogun State and to let them know that they can’t subvert the will of the state. Let them try whatever they want to try, we also have our strategies and I am not going to hide behind one finger,”

He said, the development forced Akinlade other twenty-six aggrieved candidates of All Progressives Candidates in the State, to defect to Allied Peoples Movement (APM), and could not stop them, being the platform to fight back at poll

“When these people came, they told me they are leaving the APC, I said ‘no’ but I couldn’t stop them. In fact, Akinlade has my full support.  I am not going to stop him, everything I have, I will use to support him. Let them try whatever they want to try, we also have our strategies and I am not going to hide behind one finger,”
