I HATE PASTORAL WORK WITH PASSION, BUT HOLY SPIRIT ARRESTED ME, SAYS PASTOR ADEBANJO

The woman whose journey into propagating God’s work was by accident, attended Federal Government Girls College, and later went to International Institute of Catering and Hotel Management Ojota., where in 2012 received call into the Evangelism Ministry.

Hear her, ‘When I was in Secondary School , I remember when I went to pray for one of my colleagues that was having stomach trouble and she was healed, and since then my colleagues will be calling me Pastor Bola’.

‘I was brought up in a Mission house, but I don’t ever want to become a Pastor. Infact when I was a young lady, I said to one Pastor that I can never marry a Pastor, because of the way my parents are being treated in the Church. They don’t have money’.

‘But my parents tried to send us to the best School then, but as God will do it I received a call. I was arrested by the Holy Spirit. I went to Baptist College of Theology Igede Ekiti. But I am willing to proceed in my Theological Education’.

The female Cleric who is the founder of, Alice Agbeke Bamimodu Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation(NGO)  born at Ogbomosho Baptist Medical Centre, now Bowen University Teaching Hospital in 1967,but hate pastoral work with passion, until she was spiritually arrested by God.

Penpushing further reports that, her organization has been putting smiles to faces of many hopeless people in the society, while the example that came to mind is the case of a child and her mother found to be homeless and sleeping under the bridge in Lagos

The mother of three, Tobi, Toyosi, and Tomi, while recalling her contact with the indigents mother and the child said, it was one Tuesday when she went to Mile 12 in Lagos for a shopping, when she noticed the woman and her son engaged in ‘load carrier’ job.

‘This woman joined the Alabarus(load carriers) that was helping me to carry my goods. When we now got to the park one woman now told me that she is a widow and she sleeps inside the market with her 3 children. So I felt for the grown up children. That what will become of their lives if they grow up inside the market? The small girl can be raped’

‘So I brought them to my house. Thank God for using my NGO (AAB), Alice Agbeke Bamimodu  to touch the life of this fatherless little boy who was selling pure water at Mile 12, before I met his mother’, she stated.

Penpushing reports, that as at the time of filing this reports, the children have started School on the bill of the Non-Governmental Organisation, established by Adebanjo, and they are currently doing well, having being well transformed by the foundation

‘The children have started school. Thanks to the Proprietor of the school. He said that I should be responsible for one of them that he too will take care of one them. My intention is for the world to see my work and to be able to help me.

‘This old woman doesn’t have a house of her own. She sleeps in the Church. So I rented an apartment for her. I can’t do much work to cater for my widows, widowers, fatherless and old people again. So I need help.  I find it very comfortable in helping people’.

‘ Infact am working for other people to live. Everybody in my church, in my community and in my family knows that I am a kind giver. I wrote a book in 2006,’The Reward in Giving to the Needy. The aim of my NGO is to care for the old people, widows, widowers, fatherless, motherless, orphans and poor people.  Which I have started and the registration is in progress already’.
