Ogun state new police commissioner resumes

The new Commissioner of Police Lanre Bankole on Thursday assumed duty at the police headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, with assurance of quality and better security strategies to be put in place in ensuring safety of lives and properties.

Penpushing reports that, Bankole who disclosed that he has been briefed by his strategic leaders about the issues that arouse in Ijebu- Ode banks, assured that,  he is ready to tackle all the peculiar crisis in the axis and ensure that life return to normal.

“The good people of Ogun state should expect a better quality service in terms of security, we have a vision and the vision is to make a Ogun state the safest place in the country in terms of security”, he stated.

“I have been briefed by my strategic leaders about the issues, and we are ready to tackle all peculiar in the axis, and where there is grey area,  make sure that those grey areas are cleared, we are going to make sure that life return to normal safe in Ijebu –Ode, Bankole emphasised.

“I’m inheriting a crop of seasons officers and in the cause of time I will be talking to tactical and operational commanders in other for them to key into a new focus in making the state safer and better”., he added

Penpushing also reports that,  Bankole stated that, community policing is also going to be his strategies adding that he is going to strengthen partnership and called on other security agencies to ensure Ogun state is in peaceful and better state.

The Commissioner who had earlier in the command before his new posting tasked the officers of the command to submit their actions plan to his table on Monday morning as first assignment for them all.
