HERBALIST ARRESTED OVER ALLEGE ATTEMPT MURDER OF APPRENTICE FOR MONEY RITUALS
Penpushing further reports that, Iliyasu explained that the three suspects on getting to the river bank, grabbed the fourth person, who was the youngest of them, laid him on the ground and were about to slaughter him like a sacrificial lamb when the operatives swooped on them and got them arrested.
‘On interrogation, they confessed that the polythene bags with them were to be used to collect their respective shares of the victim’s body parts after killing him’, the commissioner said, adding that the victim was later discovered to be an apprentice of the herbalist. He said, on completion of investigations, the suspects would be taken to court.
In a related development, the Command paraded eighteen suspects over alleged various offences which include; armed robbery, of firearms and ammunitions, kidnapping and attempted murder among others.
He assured that on completion of investigations, suspects would be charge to court, just as he added that the command will not relent in efforts to keep criminals away from the state and environs, with a caution note for the criminal-minded to leave the state.
