Penpushing also reports that, a source at the area said that the victim was taken to the St Mary’s hospital, Enugu-Ezike by the military, and later transferred to Enugu, as a result of the degree of the injuries.

Meanwhile when contacted the Enugu State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amarizu confirmed the shooting and the death of the man, adding that investigation has commenced over the incident
