GOVERNOR WIKE WINS RIVERS ELECTION

The African Alliance Congress (AAC) agent, Chukwunenye Kocha, while reacting said the party would study the results before taking any decision, adding that  the party stood for peace,and also urged residents of the State and other political parties to maintain peace.

It is recalled that the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi backed the African Alliance Congress (AAC). The election was disrupted following a violence which erupted as results were being collated, while the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) posited that the incidents caused by soldiers and thugs disrupted electoral processes.
