Governor Nasir El-Rufai visits Sanusi in Nasarawa

The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has visited the deposed Kano Emir, Muhammadu Sanusi  in  Awe community , Nasarawa State, arriving  in a convoy of about six security and official vehicles to meet Sanusi

Penpushing reports that, the Governor arrived Sanusi’s abode in Awe at about 12:46 p.m. and immediately went straight into the house to have a meeting with the former  traditional ruler, as security barricade around the house preventing observers and journalists from going to meet the former Emir.

The former Emir was on Monday sacked  by the Kano State Government, claiming that, his offence was act of insubordination, and was thereafter  banished to Nasarawa and had his freedom restricted by security officials.

Penpushing reports that, as at the time of filing this report, Governor El-Rufai, who recently appointed Sanusi as Chancellor of the Kaduna State University , was still with his guest in the community.
