Governor Bello picks All Progressives Congress nomination form
Barely 24 hours after Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, paid the sum of N100million for the expression of interest to contest primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the ticket of the party as Presidential candidate, he has picked nomination form.
Penpushing reports that, Bello, it is recalled that Bello had on April 2, 2022 formally declared his intention to run for President, at a ceremony held at Eagle Square, Abuja with a promise to create 20 million millionaires, if elected.
The Governor was on Wednesday at the National Secretariat of the party to officially pick up the form, just as the he is expected to slug it out with other aspirants, which include Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo
Penpushing further reports that other contestants for party flag include; Rotimi Amaechi (Minister of Transportation), Chris Ngige (Minister of Labour and Employment),and Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, his counterparts in Cross River State, as well as Senator Ibikunle Amosun(former Governor of Ogun State) among others.
