GOVERNOR AMOSUN WILL JOIN MY CAMPAIGN TEAM, SAYS DAPO ABIODUN
The Candidate maintained that Amosun is a member of the party, and leader well respected who also believe in the party, hence, he would be glad that his party, All Progressives Congress (APC), win the elections across the state.
On the crisis within the party, Abiodun said it was not unusual for such to happen, but expressed optimism that such crisis would soon fade away, as the party mechanism already put in place to resolve all differences.
‘’It is not unusual to have internal wrangling. Mechanism has been put in place by the party, to resolve all outstanding issues. I am confident that all issues will be resolve. It is just a matter of time as election draws nearer’, Abiodun explained
The Governorship Candidate while unveiling his manifesto also presented his Deputy, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, who he said is from Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the State, said if elected as Governor he would build on the work of the outgoing governor.
He highlighted his manifesto as include; improve citizens confidence and trust in government through transparent and accountable leadership, develop and enhance the value chain for the abundant natural, oil and mineral resources for the purpose of galvanizing economic and social development of the citizens of the State.
Others are; improve the development of the human capital through greater investment in qualitative education, skill acquisition as well as entrepreneurship, improve the ranking of the State on local and global ease of doing business index so as to promote and encourage local and foreign direct investment.
Similarly, Abiodun said he would improve productivity, mobility and connectivity through the provision of adequate physical road infrastructure across the state, with particular emphasis on the rural areas, work towards a higher level of prosperity, equity, fairness and justice for all.
He said, his administration will improve the provision of primary health care to ensure availability to all citizens, provide at least one medical centre of excellence in each Senatorial District, promote and sustaining inter-ethnic/ inter-religious harmony among the diverse people and cultures in the State.
Penpushing further reports that, Abiodun on his message to the electorates said, ’my government shall provide good accountable governance through provision of quality leadership to all. Our administration, as a basic purpose, shall provide the citizens of Ogun State good service
