Governor Adeleke, Oni of Ife, other traditional rulers to grace Osun Country Club multi-billion-naira recreational centre launch

The management of Osun Country Club has concluded arrangements for the launch of multi-billion-naira leisure and recreational centre with prime focus on quality and environmental sustainability, which is located in the surrounding areas of Osogbo, the state capital.

Penpushing reports that a statement by Omo’ba Chris Adetayo disclosed that the grand launch is scheduled to hold on May 15, 2024 at the Aurora Event Centre, Osogbo with Governor Ademola Adeleke leading other dignitaries to the event.

The statement explained that the project is aimed to usher in a new era of lifestyle, leisure and recreational excellence to serve the people of the state with a promise of an unparalleled experience for esteemed members of the club and guests.

Penpushing further reports that Adetayo in the statement emphasized that the centre will serve as  a great addition to the growing tourist attractions of Osun State, having being designed with plans of world-class amenities

‘With prime focus on quality and environmental sustainability, Osun Country Club will offer a sanctuary for relaxation and social engagement. Its plans for world-class amenities, including a golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness facilities, and exquisite dining and events options, will provide a haven where individuals, families and corporates can unwind and create cherished memories’, he wrote.

‘The grand launch of Osun Country Club will take place on 15th of May at the Aurora Event Centre, Osogbo. Headlining the event will be the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Adeleke’, the statement emphasised.

Penpushing also reports that the statement disclosed that other dignitaries at the ceremony  will include the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, and the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Prince Adewale Egbedun.

The statement added that the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II will lead other traditional rulers to the event, and will be supported by  Owa Obokun of Ijeshaland, Oba(Dr) Adekunle Aromolaran; Orangun of Ila-Orangun, Oba Abdulwahab Oyedotun;  Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi;  Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji; and the Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Lawal.

‘The founding of Osun Country Club underscores the unwavering commitment of indigenes and friends of Osun State, home and abroad, to the State’s development. It reinforces their desire to foster community spirit and promote a healthy lifestyle amongst the State’s citizens’, the statement said.
