Governor Abiodun”s wife cautions Nigerian youths on “Japa” syndrome

The wife of Ogun State Governor, Bamidele Abiodun has tasked Nigerian Youths resident abroad following what is now called “Japa syndrome”to always have rethink that no place like home and tap into various opportunities in every human endeavours to make their country of birth relevant in the comity of nations.

Penpushing reports that Abiodun gave the challenge while addressing worshipers at the ongoing 2023 Holy Convocation of Victory Life Bible Church(VLBC) tagged “Divine Speed “, held at the church headquarters located along Abeokuta-Ajebo road in Abeokuta Ogun State Capital.

The first lady reminded the youths that Nigeria is a blessed nation with unparalleled human and natural resources waiting to be accessed, pointing out that most Nigerians abroad are always not treated as first class citizens, stressing that for those still eager to travel abroad for greener pastures, they should look inward as there is no place like home.

Penpushing further reports that the Governor”s wife boasted that Nigeria is the best country in the world, adding that being a Nigerian any day, any time, any where is qualitative, hence need by the citizens particularly to join hands together in making the country greater

The spouse of the lead Pastor of the Victory Life Bible Church(VLBC), Reverend Fola Achudume earlier in in a sermon, entitled “The God Factor”,charged the congregation to live an impactful life, noting that the time has come for Christians to understand that God’s mercy is the key to achieving the much required success in any socio-economic, spritual, academic and other goals in life.

Penpushing also reports that Achudume emphasised that no achievement can last longer if God is not prioritised, noting that any position attained without God’s backing will fade away especially in the face of challenges.

The Reverend while informing that God created people for different races,likened the Christian journey in life to a race, a battle and the life of a farmer, adding that having success in any life’s journey is not a function of an individual’s knowledge and strength but God’s intervention.

Penpushing reports that the Save Her Foundation President who posited that those that approach life without taken into consideration the God’s factor always run in vain, pointed out that life can be quite overwhelming if the mercy of God is absent.

The General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church(VLBC),Apostle Lawrence Achudume in remarks at a meeting with pastors and their spouses, noted the need for his colleagues on the pulpit to be disciplined and fearless in preaching the gospel.

Penpushing further reports that the week long programme is continuing with word ministration from the widely travelled cleric, Apostle Joshua Selman and other well-known Ministers of the gospel.
