Governor Abiodun’s aide donates salary to constituents
A Senior Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor on Culture and Tourism, Adebisi Ogunde has donated her first salary as well as various food items to her constituents through Ita-Epo Ward 11, Odogbolu local government of the state.
Penpushing reports that sources said the female politician was said to have extended the gestures to put smiles on the faces of her constituents, while the aged were not left out, having organized a care and welfare programme for them
The donor, a politician of over twenty years in active politics was quoted saying that it was her own little way to give back to the society out of the kind gesture from Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun
‘I offer the good people of Ita-Epo Ward 11, Odogbolu local government food stuff, which include chicken, rice, also dole out my 1st salary as SSA to some members of the party and notable leaders throughout the 15 wards in Odogbolu Local Government. It’s also worthy to mention that the care for the aged program was also done to put smile in the faces of the old’, Ogunde said.
Penpushing further reports that she called on party members to compliment the good efforts of the Governor under the vision to give the state a focused and qualitative governance, and emphasized need to refrain from violence as election is fast approaching
‘Following the political terrain at this crucial moment of electioneering, we need to be patient and play politics with upmost loyalty and also all political leaders in various capacity should ensure the political space to accommodate all’, she stated.
‘Compliment the good work of our dear Governor under a vision to give Ogun State a focused and qualitative governance, refrain from political violence, intimidation, acrimony but foster unity among all and make sure success is recorded at polls’, Ogunde stressed.
