Anti-Crimes Commission arrest Lagos socialite” E- Money” for Naira abuse

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has, arrested Emeka Okonwo Daniel, popularly called E- money at his Omole, Lagos residence for Naira abuse and defacement of foreign currencies.

Penpushing reports that sources said the operatives of the commission arrested the socialite late hours of Monday following an alleged spraying of American dollars against the Foreign Exchange Act.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) sources disclosed that preliminary investigations are ongoing and the suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

Penpushing further reports that the spokesperson of the commission, Dele Oyewale when contacted declined comments on the arrest, however, authoritative sources within the commission disclosed that the socialite is being flown to Abuja to face investigators on the issue.
