Governor Abiodun approves appointment of Chief Press Secretary

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved the appointment of Mr. Lekan Adeniran as his Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

Penpushing reports that a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Tokunbo Talabi on Tuesday said the appointment of Adeniran  takes immediate effect.

The Chief Press Secretary is a graduate of Mass Communication with over three decades experience as a journalist, and started his journalism career at The Guardian in 1992, where he covered the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Lagos State House of Assembly and Governor’s Office, Alausa, Ikeja.

Penpushing further reports that the statement added that he left Guardian Newspapers in 2001 to join the newly established Daily Independent, and  also worked with the Compass, Next and National Mirror newspapers.

Meanwhile, the statement added that Adeniran before his  appointment was the editor of WesternPost, an online newspaper publication.
