Fuji maestro adewale ayuba to perform live at oru peoples day ceremony

The Fuji music legend, Adewale Ayuba popularly called ‘Mr Johnson’ is to perform live show on new year eve at an event tagged; “Ebe Nite” preceding the grand finale of the 2022 Oru Peoples’ Day in Oru -Ijebu town of Ogun state.

Penpushing reports that, a statement by the Chairman, Central Working Committee, Chief (Dr.) Kunle Odule and the Director of Media and Publicity of Oru Peoples’ Day 2022 Central Working Committee, Comrade Akeem Temitope Akilo said the ceremony is lined up with number of events.

The statement said the Secretary to the Ogun State  Government , Olatokunbo Talabi is sponsoring football competitions among the youths, while Ayo Olopon  will be sponsored by the veteran actor Prince Dele Odule, as well as Ebe night, the beauty pageant competition to produce the 5th Miss Oru 2022 sponsored by Otunba Sesan Ogunkoya, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Times square hotel and suite, Oru-Ijebu

Penpushing further reports that, the programmes as released by the committee shows that on Monday December 26, there will be beating of Gbedu drum by the Osugbos, Cultural Dance by Olorisas, Egungun Parade/Display and commencement of Indoor Games (Ayo-Olopon, Draft, Table-Tennis, Scrabble) at Oru hall effective from 4:00 pm.

The Tuesday December 27 events include:  Environmental Sanitation/Town Cleaning from 7:00 am, continuation of Indoor Games (Ayo-Olopon, Draft, Table-Tennis, Scrabbl and Health Day from  10:00am at Oru Town Hall

Penpushing also reports that on Wednesday December 28, there will be reception in honour of distinguished sons of Oru-Ijebu, scheduled to hold at the town hall from 4:00 pm, while the semi-final of the football competition will take place 2pm at  Refugee Camp (Now Jafad School of Nursing) Oru-Ijebu.

The beauty pageant will also kicked off from 7:00 pm, at the Square Hotel, Oru-Ijebu, while on Thursday December 29, mini marathon race will take place from 6.30am, with finals of indoor games slated for 2.00pm

Penpushing reports that, the statement added that stage performance by Dele Odule Performing Group will commence by 7:00 pm, at Oru Town Hall, Oru-Ijebu, while on Friday December 30, there will be Oru Walk for Life from 7:00 am

The  Jumat Service of the ceremony will same day take place  by 12:00 pm, while finals of the football matches hold at  Refugee Camp (Now Jafad School of Nursing) Oru-Ijebu, to be followed with Ebe Night, which is the grand-finale on Saturday December 31, where Adewale Ayuba and his Bonsue Fuji Band will perform live
