Fraudster hijack WhatsApp telephone contact of united nations chieftain to dupe innocent people

A suspected fraudster has hijacked mobile telephone number of Unuted Nations(UN)Women Representatives to Nigeria and Economic Community for West Africa States (ECOWAS), Beatrice Eyong, using the WhatsApp contact line to dupe innocent people on the contact.

Penpushing reports that the fraudster at about 12. 01am on Friday sought for what he called urgent favour to help transfer sum of N1million to another person which he dropped the bank account number 1859656028 of Access bank with the name Usman abdulmuminu.

The fraudster who doesn’t realise that the contact and his supposed victim was playing along with him, said he had challenges to do the transfer from his own end, but promised to make refund as soon as he address the problem later in the day, emphasizing urgency to do the transfer to the person identified as Abdulmuminu.

Penpushing further reports that, his target, however, later explained to him that his mobile banking transactions cannot do transfer of N1milllion at a go, except he gets to the banking hall later in the day to do the transfer from the counter, yet the fraudster stated that because of the urgency half of the money requested for can still be transferred.
