FOUR ELECTORAL COMMISSION WORKERS, CORP MEMBER DIE IN ACCIDENT

 The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member was performing his primary assignment with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Lokoja while the child was said to belong to one of the commission’s staff members.

Penpushing also reports that the Director of Voter Education and Publicity at Kogi Office of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Ahmed Biambo confirmed the incident, disclosing that the victims were from the Information and Communication Technology and Account departments of the commission.

The Director of Voter Education and Publicity said the corpses had been deposited at the morgue of the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, as at the time of filing this report
