Former staff of Wema Bank holds reunion to celebrate 80th anniversary of financial institution
The former employees under the aegis of Wema former-colleagues group have lined up a series of activities to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the bank and its milestone achievement, a reunion tagged “Oluyole 2025”.
Penpushing reports that the Group’s Brand Consultant Dr Eddy Ademosu made this known in a statement explaining that the theme is “Wema @80: Navigating the intersection of past, present and future- A stakeholder centric approach to sustainability and growth” .
The statement added that the ceremony will hold on Saturday, April,26, 2025 at Jogor Event Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State Capital, adding that Mr. Demola Adebise, former Group Managing Director of Wema Bank, will speak on the theme as the guest speaker, and will be supported by seasoned guest discussants
Penpushing further reports that Ademosu,in the statement said the Chairman, Odu’a Group of Companies, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, is the special guest of honour while High Chief Olu Okuboyejo and Alhaji S.T Adepoju are Fathers of the day.
Meanwhile, the Group’s Brand Consultant in the statement made available to Penpushing Media emphasized that the combined event will draw participants from within Nigeria and abroad.
