Chief of Staff suspended for spraying money on Pastor

The Chief of Staff to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, ACB Agbazuere has been suspended for spraying money on a cleric, which was contained in a video clip which was relayed on internet across the globe.

Penpushing reports that, the Secretary to the State Government, Chris Ezem made the suspension announcement known in a statement, emphasizing that, the order given by the Governor takes immediate effect.

The statement was silence on reason behind the suspension but top government source disclosed that it was the fallout of a video which captured the Chief of Staff  spraying naira notes on a controversial Nigerian prophet, Odumeje, inside the Government House.

“He shouldn’t have done that. I can assure you that the governor wasn’t aware that Odumeje was even there (in Government House). The governor was away from the state when it happened,” the source added.

Penpushing further reports that, the statement was not specific on the expiry date of the suspension, but stated that for the suspension period, the Permanent Secretary in charge of Government House, Alozie Odoemelam, has been appointed as the acting Chief of Staff

“Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed the immediate suspension from office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr ACB Agbazuere. The Permanent Secretary, Government House, Mr Alozie Odoemelam, will perform the duties of the office of Chief of Staff until further notice.”
