FELA ANIKULAPO- KUTI’S 80TH POSTHUMOUS BIRTHDAY TO HOLD FOR ONE WEEK, ARRANGEMENTS IN TOP GEAR

Penpushing reports further that a press statement issued also reads, ‘as we celebrate Fela Anikulakpo Kuti posthumously at 80, we seek to empower the people through art, dance, music and intellectual discourse with the belief that together we shall succeed in ‘Overtaking Overtake’.

It is on records that,for the past 5 years, the historic Freedom Park Lagos has become a leading venue partner for the Elite audience with premium entertainment and reception of live music performances, exhibitions and funfair from both ingenious and foreign artistes at the Festival.

The Freedom Park committee assured that there are plans to have a much grander event than past years entertaining more than 2,000 attendees, adding that October 10 has being set aside for Felabration Secondary School Debate taking place at Freedom Park Lagos, a day which will also doubles as the media flag off.
