Federal medical centre Abeokuta records another two new cases of coronavirus, one death
The Federal Medical Centre, Idi- Aba, Abeokuta has again recorded two new cases of the novel coronavirus, as one of them died before the outcome of the result of her samples .
Penpushing reports that, the institution Head of Media Public Relations and Information, Segun Orisajo made this known on Friday, adding that the deceased was a 43 year old trader who lived at Ota town, Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of the state
The hospital spokesman said the patient presented in the centre on Friday 29th May, 2020 and was being managed for decompensated chronic liver disease and covid-19,was subsequently screened but passed away later that day.
Penpushing further reports that,he said the result of her samples returned positive explaining that the second patient is a 40 year old man who presented on referral from Joga Orile Primary Health Centre being managed for sepsis with a chest focus.
The hospital imagemaker said the patient was subsequently screened and result of his samples returned positive, adding that the patient is currently in the Centre’s isolation, with clinical improvement.
