FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, OGUN GOVERNMENT B EGS STRIKING HEALTH WORKERS TO SUSPEND STRIKE

Amosun assured that his administration would continue to invest in the health sector, stressing that health institution, particularly the Primary Health Care, would be made to be functional, with the provision of basic medical facilities and good working condition for health practitioners.

He said his administration would support the project, calling on the indigenes of Adebayo to support the project, as it would help in the socio-economic development of the area.

Similarly, the Minister, Dr Osagie Ehanire in his remark, assured that the Federal government would restore confidence in the health sector, as health institutions across the country would be positioned to address medical tourism.

Ehanire thanked Governor Amosun for releasing 170 hectares of land valued N2.6 billion and other past interventions, urging him not to relent in his support for the project.

The Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Prof. Adewale Musa-Olomu earlier in his speech applauded the Governor for the giant stride being witnessed in the State, particularly in the health sector.
