FAKE LAWYER ARRESTED WHILE ARGUING BAIL APPLICATION FOR ‘CLIENT’ IN COURT

“The suspect fell in love with law practice when a friend of his commissioned him to act as a lawyer in order to serve his tenant a quit notice. He was handsomely rewarded after the deed and since then, there was no looking back. He has also been practising as a fake lawyer since 2015.”

The Lagos State Police Commissioner, Imohimi Edgar said the arrest would be the second incident at the Ojo Magistrate Court and warned professional bodies to always scrutinise their members.
