FAILED PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY GOVERNORSHIP ASPIRANT, DINO MELAYE REJECTS CAMPAIGN DIRECTOR- GENERAL POSITION

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is expected to face the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate, Yahaya Bello, the incumbent Governor, who is the main challenger in the Governorship election scheduled for November 26.

Penpushing further reports that, the leadership of the opposition Peoples Democratic (PDP) on Friday in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Olagbodiyan, announced that Melaye has been appointed to chair the State’s Governorship Campaign Council.

However, in response to the offer, Melaye, the initiator of ‘Ajekun Iya’ political song on his twitter page bluntly declared his rejection of the offer, and said he wished the party all the best, adding that, ‘when truth is a casualty there is chaos’

 “Let me state categorically that I have turned down the position of Director-General of the PDP Kogi State Governorship Campaign Council. I wish PDP all the best. When truth is a casualty there is chaos’ Melaye tweeted.
