Osoba, Abiodun welcome Tinubu to Ogun state on visit to paramount rulers

Former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba and Governor Dapo Abiodun on Thursday led other dignitaries to welcome President Bola Tinubu to Ogun State, who came to visit two paramount rulers in the state.

Penpushing reports that Tinubu’s chopper landed at 10:18 a. m. at the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and was accompanied by the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, and presidential spokesperson, Dele Alake.

The Governor of Ogun State, Abiodun and national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Osoba received the President alongside his entourage, they exchanged pleasantries and thereafter the President moved to inspect guard of honour

Penpushing further reports that, Tinubu shortly after inspecting guard of honour took time to respond to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who also came to welcome him, as he wave to them as cheering from the crowd rented the stadium.

The Nigeria’s President later moved in a convoy alongside Osoba and Abiodun and other dignitaries to the private residence of Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona where he held a closed door meeting with the monarch

Penpushing also reports that other notable politicians in attendance to welcome President at Dipo Dina International Stadium include Engr(Mrs) Noimot Salako-Oyedele(Ogun State Deputy Governor), Hon Gboyega Isiaka(Member Federal House of Representatives, as well as Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 11, Yomi Oladimeji, Director of State Security Services(SSS),Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ogun State Command among others.
