DON’T ARREST OMO-AGEGE AGAIN, COURT TELLS POLICE, SSS
However, following his arrest over the attack and his subsequent release, his (Omo-Agege’s) lawyers on Thursday approached the court seeking an interim injunction against further arrest or detention of the Senator.
Penpushing report that, the team of lawyers led by Aliyu Umar, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria,(SAN) asked for court’s protection for the embattled Senator pending determination of a fundamental human rights case brought against the respondents.
The judge, Ishaq Bello, in his ruling granted the four-point prayers of the senator’s lawyers, restraining Police, State Security Services(SSS) from arresting the controversial lawmaker and adjourned the matter to May 6.
