Donald Trump arraigned in court over 34 felony counts charge

The former President of United States of America(USA)   Donald Trump on Tuesday arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court to face 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, but pleaded not guilty to charges.

Penpushing reports that, the controversial Trump was the first former President in the history of the United Staes of America (USA) to face criminal charges, while the arraignment journalists were not allowed to broadcast the arraignment but five still photographers are allowed to take photos ahead of the proceedings.

Penpushing further reports that the former President was indicted last week by a grand jury following an investigation related to a hush money payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 Presidential campaign.

The former President arraigned before Judge Juan Merchan, it is recalled before his indictment declared his intention to run for office again, and is expected to continue his campaign for the presidency as the America Constitution does not require that the President be free from indictment, conviction or prison; it follows that a person under indictment or in prison may run for the office and may even serve as president.
