Dangote Group of Companies said its well determined to ensure that Nigeria becomes self-sufficient in all sectors, stressing that it is also cautious on need for strategies that will drive business and create value for customers
Penpushing reports that, Regional Director of Dangote Cement, Dolapo Alli made this known on Wednesday on the occasion of the Dangote Special Day at the 11th Gateway International Trade Fair at Moshood Abiola International Trade Fair Complex, Abeokuta.
The Director said the establishment has been regular participants at other major fairs across the country, adding that this is one of the means of demonstrating the believe that chambers of commerce and industry occupy a unique position in driving economic development through their activities.
“Dangote Industries Limited is the nation’s foremost indigenous Pan-African conglomerate.We are a diversified group with interests in cement,sugar.salt, poly products,real estate, agriculture, logistics, telecommunications,steel,oil and gas among others”,he said
“We have three subsidiaries listed on the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE).They include Dangote Cement Plc, Dangote Sugar Refinery, and Dangote Salt which trade under the name of NASCON’,Alli stated
Penpushing also reports that, he admitted that Gateway International Trade Fair remains an avenue for the companies with customers across the country, stressing that Dangote Group share the trait of ever pushing beyond the limits and discovering new levels of success.
The Director said Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Agriculture Mines(OGUNCCIMA) is a unique organization, and this makes it a clear fact Ogun State is the largest concentration of industries in Nigeria, and serves as a corridor for transportation of goods and services, even outside neigbouring countries
“Our continuous efforts to innovate, create value and invest in Nigeria are borne out of our firm belief in the vast economic potential of Nigeria. This has also informed our desire to invest massively in state across the country. Our target is to ensure that Nigeria becomes self-sufficient in all the sectors where we play, cement, agriculture,mining, petroleum etc”, he emphasised
