Crimes commission apprehends 13-suspected internet fraudsters in Ibadan

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) on Monday arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Penpushing reports that Head, Media and Publicity of the commission, Wilson Uwujaren in a statement said the arrest of the suspects was triggered by intelligence reports detailing their alleged involvement in internet fraud and other related offences.
The agency gave identities of the suspects as: Kayode Adeoye, Ogunleye Yemi, Adio Taheed, Olaniyi Joshua, AbdulAfeez Kehinde, Bakare Omolayo, Adesuntola Adebayo, Ridwan Gbolahan, Abdulfatai Waliu, Olayiwola Olamilekan, Raji Wasiu, Olawale Ibrahim and Tajudeen Mojeed.
Penpushing further reports tha, the Ibadan zonal office effected the arrest, while items recovered from them include: four cars, phones, laptops and other incriminating documents used in perpetrating the crime.
Meanwhile, the Head Media and Publicity of the anti-graft in the statement disclosed on completion of investigations the suspects will be charged to court.
