Crime Commission arrests 22 suspected internet fraudsters in Ogbomoso

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), has arrested 22 suspected Yahoo Boys for alleged involvement in internet fraud in Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
Penpushing reports that the Commission’s Head, Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwajaren, made this known in a statement which was made available to journalists on Wednesday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The agency spokesman said, the suspects are Akintunde Ibrahim Olajide, Yusuf Taiye Afeez, Jimoh Idris Okikiola, Adeyemo Wariz Adegoke, Ademola Olalekan Saheed, Anif Abayomi Busayo, Oriade Sunday Oluwatobi, Ajadi Opeyemi Damilola,Peter Akanji Blessing,Olaoluwa Felix Oguniran, Agbei Shola Peter, Toheeb Adeagbo Tola and Ajayi Akinyinka Umar.
Penpushing further reports that, others include Ibrahim Opeyemi Ishola, Samson Shonubi Oluwafemi, Oki Kayode Oluwadunsi, Durosamo Temitope Dickson, Akinremi Ridwan Abiodun, Ahmed Ogunyele and Olawore Ridwan Olalekan.
The Head Media and Publicity of the commission explained that he suspects were apprehended during an operation at their hideout in Ogbomoso township based on intelligence on their alleged criminal activities.
Penpushing also reports that, Uwajeran stated that, at the point of arrest of the suspects, five cars, several mobile phones, laptops and other incriminating documents were recovered from them, adding that 20 of the 22 suspects have been indicted by the investigation, stressing that, they will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
