Former Wema Bank staffers hold maiden reunion towards members welfare

The maiden edition of re-union of former staff of the Wema Bank Plc has been scheduled and designed to hold on February 26,2022 in Lagos State, and aimed at fostering social interaction and welfare of the over 300 membership.

Penpushing reports that, this was made known by the Group Admin Team (GAT) Chairman, Mr ‘Wale Adedapo and Public Relations Officer, Eddy Ademosu in a statement, adding that the ceremony will attract members across the globe.

‘Ex-Wema Bank all over the Country and in Diaspora will converge in Lagos on February 26 for the first reunion get- together. The Reunion is aimed at fostering social interaction and welfare of the over 300 membership’, the statement explained

Penpushing further reports that, the statement said the  event holding under the umbrella of  Wema Bank ‘Ex-Colleagues Group’ will hold at Academy Guest House and Events Centre, Plot 6, Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, (ACME Junction), Ikeja as from 11.00a.m.

The statement added that, Chairman Titan Trust Bank, Mr Tunde Lemo,and former Managing Director, Wema Bank Plc, as well as former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)  will be the Special Guest Speaker at the event.

Penpushing also reports that, the incumbent Managing Director of Wema Bank Plc, Mr Ademola Adebise is also billed to attend the reunion as the Special Guest of Honour, an attempt by the group to forge a closer tie with the contemporary Wema Brand.

Meanwhile, the statement emphasized and expressed optimism that, the reunion would explore the best possible means to empower members who had served the Bank meritoriously in the past.
