BUHARI TO PRESENT DAPO ABIODUN, ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE TO OGUN ELECTORATES
The statement also added that, a business mogul and politician, Owodunni Opayemi, will chair the Committee that is to ensure a befitting and hitch-free reception for the President and his entourage when they visit Ogun State for the rally.
Penpushing further reports that, Oladunjoye explained that during the visit, President Muhammed Buhari will hand over the party’s flag to Dapo Abiodun , the Governorship Candidate of the party, adding that the decision to set up the committee was taken at the meeting of the Presidential Campaign Advisory Council held in Abeokuta on Sunday.
The statement said the meeting was presided over by the former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba, adding that the Local Organising Committee ( LOC), which will work together with the State Caretaker Committee is headed by Yemi Sanusi, “will liaise with the National Working Committee of the APC to ensure a befitting reception and rally for Mr. President”,
Penpushing also reports that other members include: Senator Gbenga Obadara, Tunji Akinosi, Dr. Yomi Majekodunmi, Barrister (Mrs.) Olubukola Onabanjo, former Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Mrs. Funmi Efuwape, Mr. Semako Huyen, and two former Deputy Governors, Senator Sefiu Adegbenga Kaka, and Chief Segun Adesegun, who is also the Director General of Dapo Abiodun Campaign Organisation (DACO).
