SUSPECTED TARABA KIDNAP KINGPIN, WADUME ARRESTED

The ‘high profile’ kidnapping suspect escaped thereafter, and remained elusive for days, but when the police embarked on a serious manhunt, he was eventually arrested, while as at the time of filing this report it was not clear where he (Wadume)  was detained.

Penpushing further reports that, a source at the police headquarters said he is in custody at the Headquarters in Abuja, while the police are expected to release a statement on his arrest later.

The killing of the policemen allegedly carried out by the soldiers, which led to the escape of Wadume caused nationwide apprehension, prompting President Muhammadu Buhari to order an investigation into the ugly incident.

Penpushing also reports that, the investigation panel, which comprises military and the police, was initially scheduled to conclude its findings last week, but the investigating panel sought additional two weeks to wrap up.
