Billionaire ‘Babajebu’ donates N400million to Ogun, Lagos States to fight coronavirus
The billionaire businessman, Adebutu Kessignton, popularly called ‘Baba Ijebu’ has donated the sum of N400,000.00 to both Ogun and Lagos States to fight the ravaging coronavirus, the cheques to the effect already transferred to the designated bank accounts of the two States.
Penpushing reports that, Baba Ijebu in letters personally signed by him were addressed to Governors Dapo Abiodun(Ogun) and Babajide Sanwo-Olu(Lagos) and dated 30th and 31st March, 2020 informing them of the donations.
The donor in the letters commended the two Governors for their concerted efforts to stem the ravaging virus, adding that he has forwarded his ‘token’ support to the governments various accounts(Lagos United Bank of Africa 1022751273) Ogun State Zenith bank number 1017227484)
‘On behalf of myself, my entire family and organisations, we commend the concerted efforts of Your Excellency to stem Covid 19 pandemic are donating a modest sum of N100,000,000, N300,000.00 towards which we have forwarded the necessary instructions to our bankers; Wema bank. Kindly confirm the payment for your bank’, Adebutu wrote in the letters sent to the two Governors
