OGUN REVIVE MORIBUND TECHNICAL COLLEGE

commissioning the college noted that the gesture was part of efforts by his adminstration to revitalize vocational training and skill acquisition in the state towards building manpower capacity in the subsector.

He explained that the state took delight in building job creators rather than employment seekers especially at providing the needed manpower to service the increasing number of industries in the state.

Amosun assured youths that government would continue to support and collaborate with relevant stakeholders towards improving technical and infrastructural development for technological advancement.

 The Speaker  House of Assembly, Hon Suraj Adekunmbi in his remark noted that the project would create a platform for the youth to re-direct their energy towards technical development which in the long run would improve the state’s Gross Domestic Product.

However, in her welcome address, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mrs Modupe Mujota  explained that the project was borne out of government’s passion to make its people self-reliant and relevant in the scheme of things.

She said this was in line with on growing trends in technological advancement, adding that the equipment were of cutting edge value.
