ARMED ROBBERS SHOT SO-SAFE CORPS OFFICIAL, ON DANGER LIST IN HOSPITAL

The armed robbers shot the officer in the stomach and fled the scene, while the 48 year old victim had to be rushed to the Federal Medical Centre(FMC), Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, having been brutally injured, and as at the time of filing this report arrangement were on to transfer him to the theater for operation

Penpushing further reports that, the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Moruf Yusuf confirmed the incident, adding that the officers sustained serious injuries, lamenting that the bandits escaped from the scene of the crime.

The Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abeokuta, Dr Adewale Musa -Olomu also confirmed admission of the victim, adding that the management will do everything possible to safe his life.

Penpushing also reports that, at the hospital, the Commander of the Corps, Commander Soji Ganzallo was seen running round to provide needed materials for the hospital, in ensuring that the victim is revived.
