American Cable News Network fires three staff over violation of coronavirus protocols

The American Cable News Network (CNN) has reportedly sent packing three of its employees for breaching the company’s vaccination policy which is in line with coronavirus guidelines and protocols

Penpushing reports that the affected staff were alleged working in the office despite being unvaccinated for coronavirus, a development the company considered as wrongful act and actions

The internal memo of the company sent by the the establishment boss, Jeff Zucker to the staff emphasised that, vaccinations are mandatory for anyone reporting in the field, working with any other employees or entering the offices,

“Let me be clear – we have a zero tolerance policy on this. You need to be vaccinated to come to the office. And you need to be vaccinated to work in the field, with other employees, regardless of whether you enter an office or not. Period,” the memo added.

Penpushing further reports that, as at the time of filing this report, the names of the affected  employees were not made public, while record has it that the Cable Network News(CNN) vaccination policy only allows vaccinated employees to return to  the offices on a voluntary basis using the honour system to confirm their vaccination status through the company’s passcard system and have not been asked to show proof.
