Ahead of the event, Chairman, Editorial Board of Penpushing Media, Deaconess Olufunke Fadugba, had announced the formation of an eight-person Committee to fashion out programme of event for the programme.
She said the committee has Eddy Aina, a Veteran Journalist and former Director with National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) as the Chairman and Mrs Toyin Ogunbomehin, a College Principal as the Secretary.
Other members are; Dr Goke Rauf, Director of Communications, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and Sina Adefolahan, founder of a Non-Governmental Organisation, Funke Fadugba; Bolaji Amusan, a veteran Theater practitioner as well as Bola Solate, a journalist/event planner.
It would be recalled that,the maiden edition of the programme, held on July 19 ,2017 was a huge success and had the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof Oye Ibidapo-Obe as the guest lecturer. He spoke on the theme, ’Social Media: Building Parameters for Trust to Achieve Political and National Growth.
Similarly, in attendance were the wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Mrs Bola Obasanjo and Iyalode of Yorubaland, Chief(Mrs) Alaba Lawson, Kabiyesi Olufemi Ogunleye, who was the royal father, and a journalism icon, Prof Idowu Sobowale as the Chairman, among others
