All Progressives Congress ward congress in ogun state records 100 percent success, says panel

The Appeal Panel for the Ogun State All Progressives Congress (APC) has affirmed that the concluded ward congresses of the party recorded hundred percent success, which stakeholders of the party to be commended.

Penpushing reports that Chairman of the 3-man panel Comrade Phillip Shaibu made this known at a press conference on Friday held at the headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) located at Iyana Mortuary, Moshood Abiola Way, Abeokuta.

The panel boss encouraged party members to emulate the success of the ward congress on Saturday which is scheduled for the local government congresses, adding that the peaceful conduct of the ward congresses showed that the party is united.

Penpushing further reports that Shaibu explained that as at the expiration for submission of petitions from any aggrieved members of the party over the congress, there was no petition from any quarters.

‘I am happy with what I have seen. Ogun State ward congress conducted peacefully. I thank leadership of the party in Ogun State, I thank the Governor. It shows that the All Progressives Congress leadership is working in synergy. The success of the ward congress should be reciprocated at the Saturday local government congress’, he stated.

Penpushing also reports that Shaibu, who was former Deputy Governor of Edo State, equally expressed optimism that the local government congresses will be rancour free and charged party members to exhibit self-discipline during the exercise
