All Progressives Congress postponed contentious National Executive Council meeting
The proposed National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which was aimed to decide the fate of the embattled National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole has been postponed.
Penpushing reports that the announcement of the postponement was made known on Monday by the Chairman of the party’s Governors Forum ,Atiku Bagudu, while briefing State House correspondents after the meeting of President Muhammed Buhari and the party’s Governors in Abuja.
The Federal High Court in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) had earlier ruled that, Oshiomhole should stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the ruling party, while in a counter directive; a Federal Court in Kano ruled that Oshiomhole should continue serving as Chairman of the party.
