Air Peace flights face delays amid fuel scarcity
Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest carrier, has disclosed possible flight delays across its network due to fuel scarcity, explaining that this is concerns over operational challenges in the country’s aviation sector.
Penpushing reports that management of the airline made this known in a statement emphasisng that the situation could disrupt scheduled flights, however, said it is working with relevant partners to manage the situation and restore normal operations as quickly as possible.
“We wish to inform you that some flights across our network may experience delays due to fuel scarcity. Please be rest assured that we are actively working with our relevant partners to manage the situation and restore normal operations as quickly as possible, while minimising any impact on your travel plans,” the statement added.
Penpushing further reports that the airline, however, did not provide details on the extent of the disruption, but appealed to passengers to stay informed and seek assistance where necessary, but apologised to passengers for the inconvenience, assuring that efforts were ongoing to ensure safe and timely travel.
Meanwhile, the management stressed that the safety and comfort of passengers remain top priorities, and equally committed to getting passengers to their destinations as promptly as possible
