AGGRIEVED OGUN JOURNALISTS CALL FOR ANNULMENT OF CONTROVERSIAL ELECTION
The statement recalled that the chapel list was approved by the National Secretariat of the union, but was not used by alleged hijackers ‘who manipulated the election and denied many broadcast journalists from Ogun State Television(OGTV) and Nigeria Television Authority(NTA) the opportunity of voting’.
Penpushing further reports that, the Consolidated Chapel members include reporters from Family FM, Sweet FM, RockCity FM, and Fresh F.M. who were denied their constitutional rights to cast votes during the exercise.
The statement emphasized that, other members of the Consolidated Chapel denied the rights of voting are the reporters of Television Continental(TVC), Channels Television, Muri International Television(MITV), Silverbird Television, Core Television and Galaxy Television.
