
Abayomi Sanyaolu re-elects chairman, ogun state Inter-Party Advisory Council
The Ogun State chapter of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has re-elected Abayomi Sanyaolu as chairman for another three-year term alongside other executives.
Penpushing reports that Publicity Secretary of the council Oluwaseyifunmi Adeyemi made this known in a statement adding that the re-election was held on Tuesday after the State Executive Council (SEC) gathering.
The statement added that the election was held at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Magbon, Abeokuta, which was conducted in a peaceful, transparent, and orderly manner.
Penpushing further reports that Adeyemi explained that the election brought together stakeholders and representatives of registered political parties across the state, reflecting the council’s commitment to internal democracy, unity, and strengthened inter-party collaboration in Ogun State.
The statement stated that other elected officers include Chief Olubukunla Soyoye (Deputy Chairman) from Labour Party, Ambassador Olufunke Olanrewaju from Action Democratic Party as Secretary and Arc Akerele Abiodun (Deputy Secretary) of BOOT Party.

Penpushing also reports that others are Alhaji Yaya Adesina as Treasurer from Action Alliance Congress, Mr. Biola Martins of All Progress Congress as Organising Secretary, Dr. Yinka Williams (Financial Secretary) from Social Democratic Party, Adeyemi Oluwaseyifunmi (Publicity Secretary of Youth People Party and Seriki Boyede Ijaduoye as Legal Adviser of Zenith Labour Party.
“IPAC Ogun State congratulates the re-elected Chairman, Comrade Abayomi Sanyaolu, and all newly elected executives on their emergence. Their election reflects the confidence reposed in them by member political parties’, the statement read.
“The Council also commends INEC for providing an enabling environment for the conduct of the election, as well as all stakeholders whose cooperation ensured a hitch-free process’, Adeyemi wrote.
“The new leadership is expected to continue promoting political harmony, credible electoral processes, and constructive engagement among political parties in Ogun State and across Nigeria. IPAC Ogun State reaffirms its commitment to strengthening democracy and fostering unity among all political actors’, the statement added
