2023 Election: Internal crisis will not affect Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party, says scribe

The Oyo State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has assured that internal crisis within the party by some aggrieved members will not affect the fortune of the party in the 2023 poll.
Penpushing reports that the Publicity Secretary of the party, Engr. Akeem Olatunji gave the assurance on Thursday in an exclusive interview, boasting that, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) remain united and party to beat come 2023 election in the state
The party image maker added that the party has demonstrated the flagship of good governance since it took over the ruling of the state, stressing that the performance of Governor Seyi Makinde has convinced many indigene and residents of the state that ruling party has come to serve the people.
Penpushing further reports that, Olatunji pointed out that that residents are happy with the party, expressing optimism that Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) is going to emerge victorious when ever election is held in the state.
“One of the essence of politics is about conflict management, only a dead party will not experienced internal conflict, and for a party that is loved by people, agitation is normal because everybody want to be the governor”,Olatunji said
“All these are internal affairs which are going to be resolved amicably between us, everybody can not be considered at the same time, it is turn by turn. For the aggrieved members to be considered, they need to be patient, though majority of them are okay with the leadership of the party including those aggrieved once even accepted Governor Makinde as the leader of the party in the state and southwest at large.
“Every body is important as far as PDP is concern, we are running this party as a family and who ever feels aggrieved should calm down, they should keep believing in the leadership of governor Seyi Makinde’.
“This is just one and half years of this administration, our strategy is to first satisfied the populace who voted us into power, most party members are been taking care of, but others should be patient.”
Penpushing also reports that a chieftain of the party in the State, Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan boasted that the party has positive and brighter chances to continue in office, having change face of development to better.
“PDP in the state has changed compare to what it used to be before towards the 2019 election because some party members are aggrieved and not happy because they feels they were sidelined by the current administration.”
“We must ensure that we listened to all the aggrieved party members and put them into one folds because there won’t be any progress if some members are still aggrieved.”
Penpushing reports that, Olopoeyan however said that things will soon come back to normal very soon for the progress of the party ahead of 2023 election in the State
