FORMER GOVERNOR OSOBA’S FOOD VENDOR, EJI ALAMALA IS DEAD

The canteen and the woman became a household name for the period of Osoba’s administration, because of the former Governor’s love for the indigenous food provided by woman popularly called,’Eji Alamala.

Penpushing further reports that, the woman who ruled the world of local food in the town and environs for years died on September 3, at about 4,30pm at the age of 88 and has since being buried according to Islamic rites.

The family in a statement announcing demise of the food vendor said until her death she was the President of Food Vendors Association in Ogun State and was survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

‘With gratitude  to the Almighty Allah, the entire family of Alhaja Eji Alamala wishes to announce the passage of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Alhaja (Chief) Kosenatu Eji Alama to the great beyond on 3rd September, 2019’, the statement reads

‘She’s is fondly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and the entire family of the Ogun State Association of food vendors. She was buried the following day at her residence, Ilupeju, Gaa, Sabo in Abeokuta’, the family stated.
