Yoruba actor,’Ogun majek’ is dead

The popularly Yoruba movie actor, Gbolagade Akinpelu known as ‘Ogun Majek’ has been reported dead on Thursday in his private residence located at Imalefalafia, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Oyo State Capital

Penpushing reports that demise of the Ibadan-born veteran actor was made known through a family source, while his colleague, also a veteran actor and filmmaker, Tunde Ola-Yusuf, confirmed the death of Akinpelu in a post on his verified Facebook page.

“From him we come and on to him we shall return. Alh Gbolagade Akinpelu Ogunmajek has return to his creator, may God almighty rest his soul among the righteous. Amen”, Ola-Yusuf wrote

Penpushing further reports that, some of the movies he participated in include Afonja and Ogbori Elemoso.
