United Nations applauds Penpushing on professionalism

The United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) has commended Penpushing Media for its professionalism and sustenance of its policy of authentic news dissemination across the globe, since the commencement of its operations four years ago.

Penpushing reports that, the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC)  Country Director in Nigeria, Ronald Kayanj a gave the commendation, adding that he is proud to be associated with the News Medium, and pointing out that, the organization has also been up and doing in the adequate reportage of the ravaging coronavirus across the globe.

‘During this time of lockdown I have appreciated even more the important work of Penpushing. Very timely and reliable information.  I congratulate the professional team’, Kayanja wrote, and also encouraged the management team and editorial board to maintain the quality.

Penpushing  policy statement has it that the organisation’s has been robustly nurtured on the journalistic ideology of adding value to journalism worldwide, by ensuring credible sources of news around the world.

Recall that the Penpushing Media journey started on July 19, 2016 on a social media platform with 256 members at inception, and as it progresses, a lecture, which has become a regular project aimed at adding value to the noble profession of journalism, was introduced, while it also  embarked on social responsibility of bringing succor for the needy.

Penpushing, which has become a famous global news dissemination platform, got its certificate of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on June 1, 2017, with its corporate headquarters located at Moshood Abiola International Trade Fair Complex, Abeokuta the Ogun State Capital, Nigeria, and it has another contact office at 403 -2940 Jane Street, Toronto, ON M3N 2V4, Canada in North America.

The aims and objectives: Penpushing is indeed set to correct and tackle the menace of fake news which is almost becoming daily occurrence in the world with its greater negative impact in our clime, particularly owing to myriad of online communication channels. Similarly, it aims to revive the dwindling fortune of journalism practice and be a credible platform for genuine news to its readers across the globe. In line with our mission we shall consciously want to err on the side of caution to authenticate news for dissemination on Penpushing platform.

The organization is in partnership with a number of credible institutions across the globe, which include; United Nations Information Centre (UNIC), Teredes des homes and also on the mailing list of the World Health Organisation(WHO) among others.
