Two suspected cultists arrested for armed robbery

The Ogun State-owned Security outfit, known as Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps has arrested two suspected cultists for allegedly engaging in armed robbery in Atan-Ota of Ado/Odo-Ota local government area of the state.
Penpushing reports that, Director of Information and Public Relations of the corps, Moruf Yusuf in a statement said the suspects Bankole, a resident behind Yah Lateef Area, Onibuku and Agboola Ahmed, a resident of Orile-Gboko, Lusada Area of the local government have been on wanted list for over a month, before nemesis caught up with them.
The statement said the duo, alleged to be notorious and disturbing the peace of the area, were strategising to rob Sokenu Community Development Association in Atan, Ado-odo/Ota Local Government Area, when they were nabbed on Saturday, adding that they have equally confessed
Penpushing further reports that, the statement said part of their strategy, is using any of their victims, as bait to rob other victims in the course of their operations, adding that  items recovered from the suspects include: a Bajaj motorbike marked AYE 009 VW, one cut-to-size locally made pistol, two life cartridges, one ATM Card, one small Itel phone, one Tecno Spark 7 and various types of charms.
“Upon their arrest, the robbery syndicate, without any form of torture, confessed to the crime and added that their being an Eye fraternity members gave them the effrontery to strike anytime without the fear of any law enforcement agencies’, the statement added.
Penpushing also reports that, the statement said the
 two suspects, their victim and the exhibits found on them have been transfered to the Nigeria Police, Atan Divisional Police Headquarter for further investigation and likely prosecution.
